AzDA PROVIDES MENTAL WELLNESS RESOURCES

During her presidential platform presentation to AzDA’s House of Delegates, AzDA President Dr. Ann Blue outlined her commitment to work to remove the stigma of mental health disorders, prevention of mental stress as well as leverage the dental community to help the affected member dentists.

As a result, we’re pleased to announce that, in order to promote better mental wellness, AzDA member dentists will receive up to $425 credit for assistance in helping to promote mental health and to encourage dentists who might be at risk to seek help. This includes the first psychiatric intake of $275 and initial follow up of $150*. The treatment is being offered by AzDA Perks’ newly endorsed partner, Mental Health Center of America (MHCA), which can treat patients throughout Arizona.

In order to receive the credit, MHCA will provide a designated AzDA staff liaison with the member's name. However, no information about diagnosis/treatment plans will ever be shared. Additionally, AzDA will not disclose any information (dentist participants, treatments, or anything of that nature) to the Dental Board or insurance companies. Your privacy is vital to us.
