Arizona Dental Foundation

The Arizona Dental Foundation (ADF) mission is to keep Arizona smiling by providing charitable dentistry programs to children, seniors and individuals with a special need. We do this by mobilizing volunteers, identifying and linking resources, and offering educational opportunities for dental professionals.

ADF welcomes volunteers of every skill level to participate in giving events and/or conduct oral hygiene education in schools and the community. Or consider adopting a patient to treat in your office. We screen for financial eligibility and medical need. Contact ADF at (480) 344-5777 or (800) 866-2732 ext. 325, or click here to visit the ADF website.

Tax Credit Contributions

The tax credit for the working poor functions almost like a short term loan.  This community benefit program allows you to deduct up to $400 per married couple ($200 single filer) against taxes owed to the State of Arizona.  It is better than a deduction because your tax liability is lowered dollar for dollar on contributions made by December 31.  Plus you can still contribute up to $400 to a public school and up to $1,000 to a private school in the same tax year.  Best of all, you can take the Arizona State Tax Credit on your state taxes AND take a charitable deduction on your federal taxes.

In-kind Support

ADF accepts toothbrushes, paste, floss, stickers and other non-expired disposable supplies for use at charitable events.  Make pickup arrangements by contacting ADF at (480) 344-5777 or (800) 866-2732 ext. 304, or click here to donate to ADF.

Continuing Education and Annual Conventions

Your profession is not standing still. Dentistry is constantly evolving to better meet the needs of both patients and practitioners, like you. In addition to first-rate speakers, attendees can look forward to enjoying five-star accommodations at one of Arizona’s preeminent hotels. Why dentists should be standing with AzDA

If you've been out of school for a while, you've already heard the "do your part, keep your profession strong," speech by organized dentistry associations. And while you know that the Arizona Dental Association (AzDA) is actively opposing insurance and political forces that are threatening your profession and your livelihood, you'd like to know "The economy is tough right now, so how can your association help me on a day-to-day basis?" This is a great question - we have an even better answer.

As a member, you'll have access to:
  • Top-quality CEs at discounted rate (for you and your entire dental team).
  • A profile listing on AzDA's and the ADA's "Find a Dentist" feature on this website. Thousands of consumers use this as their trusted source to find a local dentist (an average of 2,400 hits each month) but if you’re not a member, you won't be listed, and consumers won’t find you.
  • Timely BODEX updates that directly affect your practice and career.
  • Ample opportunity to build your network (and make friends) through AzDA social and business events.
  • Having the opportunity to take a dispute with a patient to our Peer Review Committee, instead of being called in from BODEX.
  • A support staff who cares about your success and who is there to answer your questions.
  • Monthly insider insights and articles on building your practice, bringing in more patients, working with insurance companies, getting the most out of your dental team and more through AzDA's 70 page, full-color, monthly publication.
Becoming an AzDA member just makes good sense. In addition to the obvious monetary benefits, mobile dentistry, dental tourism, insurance intervention and access to care - now more than ever before, dentists need to remain united. Join us today
