Dentists Host Annual Conference in Prescott

Scottsdale, Ariz. – The Arizona Dental Association (AzDA) is hosting their annual Fall Conference in Prescott, AZ, this year from September 26 through 27 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center.

The conference is an opportunity for dentists from all over the state to come together to share and learn what’s new in dentistry. Over 300 dentists are expected to attend the conference this year.

With more than 83 percent of Arizona dentists being members of AzDA, the conference is a great way for dentists to network with each other and learn what dentists are doing across the state. Each year, dentists must earn Continuing Education credits in order to maintain licensure requirements set by the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners. The conference provides workshops that dentists can attend to earn Continuing Education credits. Workshop topics include CPR training, disease control, and risk management, to name a few.

In addition, the House of Delegates, the legislative and governing body of AzDA, hosts their second of two yearly meetings as part of the conference. The delegates will conduct the business of the Association, including the approval of legislative and public policy initiatives.
