Gary O. Jones, DDS Elected President of Central Arizona Dental Society
Scottsdale AZ, March 13, 2007: The Central Arizona Dental Society (CADS) a component of the Arizona Dental Association (AzDA) is pleased to announce the election of Dr. Gary Jones President for 2007. Dr. Jones maintains a private practice in General Dentistry in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Logan, Utah, Dr. Jones was educated at Brigham Young University and Arizona State University prior to earning his dental degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1985 (following the footsteps of his father, the late Owen J. Jones, DDS who earned his degree in 1958 from Northwestern). An AzDA member since 1986, Dr. Jones became a member of the CADS Board of Directors in 2002. His service to organized dentistry also comprises the AzDA Council on Dental Care, AzDA Task Force on the Dental Team and AzDA House of Delegates. When asked what he likes most about his career, Dr. Jones says "the social aspect of working with others and serving their needs." When he’s not working, Dr. Jones is an avid Phoenix Suns fan and enjoys flying, riding quads in the sand, travel and quality time with Alison (wife), their children and the family dog. As President of CADS, Dr. Jones will preside over all business conducted by the society’s Board of Directors, appoint special committees, designate chairs, serve as a Delegate-at-Large to the AzDA House of Delegates and write columns for the association’s publication.
