Anita Elliott, DDS Elected President of
Arizona Dental Association Scottsdale AZ, March 13, 2007: During its March 10, 2007 House of Delegates session at the Phoenix Convention Center, the Arizona Dental Association (AzDA) elected Anita Walters Elliott, DDS of Chandler to serve as the association’s 99th President. Also elected were Regina Cobb, DDS (President-elect, Kingman); Donald Simpson, DDS (Vice President, Sierra Vista); Mark Hughes, DDS (Secretary, Glendale); and Todd Hellwig, DMD (Treasurer, Scottsdale). Dr. Elliott was graduated with honors from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. She has maintained a private practice in General Dentistry with emphasis on cosmetic and restorative services in Chandler, AZ since 1987. She is a Success Seminar Speaker for the American Dental Association (ADA) and a Consultant for the ADA Council on Dental Practice. Dr. Elliott is Past President of the Central Arizona Dental Society and Past President of the Board of Directors of AzDA Services. She is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. Working Mother Magazine has named Dr. Elliott’s dental practice as "one of the top 25 best small businesses for working mothers in the nation" for 2007. As President, Dr. Elliott will represent AzDA to government agencies and civic/professional organizations. She will serve on association councils and committees, appoint chairs to those groups, serve as a Delegate to the American Dental Association and write columns for the AzDA publication.
