Meets BODEX Requirement for Infectious Diseases & Infectious Disease Control
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to customize their own OSHA manuals to reflect new OSHA law and will have the tools to train at-risk office staff in OSHA compliance and basic Infection Control procedures. Course content includes OSHA law, elements of an employee health program, blood-borne pathogens, how to handle an exposure incident, sterilization, disinfection, environmental infection control and the new CDC dental guidelines.
Kay Carl is board certified in Infection Control and Epidemiology. She has over 30 years experience in Infection Control and has worked in collaboration with AzDA since 1991 to provide continuing education in OSHA, infectious diseases and infection control. She is an active member of OSAP, the national dental infection control association, and prolific contributing author and editor for various industry print and electronic media.

Cancellation Policy: AzDA reserves the right to postpone, re-schedule or cancel any program at any time; to grant members priority over non-members when registering for courses/events; and to deny any request to attend any course by anyone. Attendees wishing to cancel a registration must do so in writing (see below) at least ten (10) business days prior to course/event in order to receive a refund. Cancelled course fees may not be transferred to other continuing education courses. Approved refunds will be refunded within thirty (30) days of cancellation.
